Rita (Wooten) Phillips

Rita Wooten Phillips, 76, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at McLeod Health in Cheraw.

Born January 24, 1946, in Gastonia, NC, she was a daughter of the late Willie Mae Hardy Price and the late Thurmond Wooten. Mrs. Rita was married to the late David Thomas Phillips, Jr. She enjoyed going to flea markets, yard sales, cooking, relaxing on her front porch and listening to her scanner, her dog, and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, David Thomas Phillips, III, and son-in-law, Brick Hyduke.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Hyduke of Bennettsville; grandson, Colby Hyduke of Bennettsville; brother, Earl Price and wife Phyliss of Bennettsville; sister, Linda Nolan (Danny) of Loris, SC.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2022, at Burroughs Funeral Home in Bennettsville.
