Rosa Lee (Welch) Crowley

Rosa Lee Welch Crowley, 84, of Clio passed away peacefully on Monday, May 15, 2023, at her home.

Born April 4, 1939, to the late Robert Medlin and Georgia Wooley Adams Welch. Rosa loved reading, cross-stitching, swimming , playing with her cat Pumpkin, and spending time with family, especially her granddaughters.

Rosa is preceded in death by her parents listed above, a sister, Elizabeth Anne Welch Malagon.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, husband of sixty-three years, John Wesley Crowley; a daughter, Teresa (Teena) Crowley Parsons (Lindsey) of Rockingham, NC; a son, John Medlin Crowley of Clio and two granddaughters, Kellie and Kristen Crowley.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Hebron United Methodist Church in Clio. Burial will follow at Hebron Cemetery.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at Burroughs Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made in Rosa’s honor to Crescent Hospice and Palliative Care.
