Roy Anthony “Tony” Pruitt, 60, of Lingerfelt Road in Vale, NC, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024.

Tony was born February 24, 1964, in Marlboro County, South Carolina, to Roy A Pruitt and the late Linda Hyatt Pruitt. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Pamela Pruitt Hatcher.

He is survived by his significant other, Laine Taylor of Vale; three children, Derrick Pruitt (Alyssa) of Denver, Amber Spitzer (Doug) of Clover, SC and Logan Gooden of Beaufort, SC; grandchildren, Graham, Eloise, Franklin, Mason, Sawyer, Nash, and Hayes; his father, Roy A Pruitt; stepmother, Patricia C. Pruitt.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 15, 2024, at the Bennettsville First Church of the Nazarene in Bennettsville, SC. A visitation will be held from 1 until 2 p.m. just prior to the service at the church. Interment will be held at a later date.
