Obituary
Sallie Grant Adams Moody, 91 years old, passed away at Dundee Manor in Bennettsville.
Sallie was born February 9, 1932 in Bennettsville. She was a daughter of the late Julius "Faison" and Annie "Elizabeth" Parker Grant. She was educated in the Marlboro County School System and married to the late Rufus Adams. She was a devoted wife and homemaker. Sallie loved her cats, Missy and Tammy. She was a devout Christian and a member of Second Baptist Church in Bennettsville. She enjoyed going to Atlanta Braves games and attending Relay for Life fundraisers and gatherings.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, James Tillman Grant and Katherine Grant Polson.
Sallie is survived by four generations of nieces and nephews, including her long-term caregiver, Sheila Polson Lane of Bennettsville.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park.
