Sally (Stubbs) Moore

Sally Stubbs Moore, 85, passed away Monday, October 10, 2022, at McLeod Health in Cheraw after a lengthy illness.

Born July 1, 1937, in Bennettsville, SC, she was a daughter of the late Leslie and Sally Stubbs. She was married to the late Harold Alfred Moore. She attended Thomas Memorial Baptist Church and was the retired owner and operator of Sally’s Greenhouses. She enjoyed horseback riding in her younger years and later growing flowers at her greenhouses.

She is survived by her children, Leslie Moore and wife Janet of Bennettsville, Helen “Sissy” Moore Berry and husband Tony of Cheraw and Christopher Moore of Warrior, AL; brother, Everette Stubbs of Bennettsville; grandchildren, Eddie Moore (Kayla), Jaye Moore, Wendy Moore, Myra M. Moore, Nathanael Berry, Bryan Berry, Kristen Chavis (Lucas), Aaron Moore (Terry) and Evan Moore; great grandchildren, London Chavis, Addie Chavis, Jaxon Moore and Jenna Sue Moore.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at Burroughs Funeral Home, with burial to follow in McCall Cemetery. A visitation will be from 1 until 2 P.M. just prior to the service at the funeral home.
