Sara (Munnerlyn) Musselwhite

Sara Munnerlyn Musselwhite, born December 25, 1939, passed peacefully at Legacy of Hartsville in Hartsville, SC on Monday, May 18, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Ford and Frances Munnerlyn.

She is preceded in death by her late husband, Freddy Musselwhite, her late son, Johnny Musselwhite, and her late brothers, David and Jimmy Munnerlyn.

She leaves behind a son, Roddy (Debbie) Musselwhite of Hartsville, a granddaughter, Tiffany (Ryan) Bethea of Columbia, a great granddaughter, Emersyn Bethea of Columbia, and a brother, Jerry Munnerlyn of Blenheim.

Sara was an avid traveler who loved traveling the east coast with her family, especially after retirement. Sara retired from Marlboro County Council on Aging where she spent decades caring for and assisting the elderly community of Marlboro County. She often enjoyed crafting and puzzling.

A visitation will take place at Burroughs Funeral Home of Bennettsville on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, from 6-7pm.
