Shane Jones

Bobby “Shane” Jones passed away Thursday, September 26, 2024. He was 30 years old.

Born January 21, 1994, in Bennettsville, Shane was the son of Bobby Jones and Sandra Pruitt Jones. He was a graduate of Marlboro County High School and employed as a machine operator with Schaeffler Group USA Inc. in Cheraw, SC. Shane attended Blenheim Congregational Holiness Church and enjoyed working and spending time with his friends and family, especially his precious baby girl.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Deloris Shankle Pruitt and paternal grandparents, Betty Huckabee and Jim Jones.

Shane is survived by his father, Bobby Jones of Bennettsville; mother, Sandra Pruitt Jones of Bennettsville; fiancé, Anna Lee and infant daughter, Victoria Raylynn Jones, both of Cheraw; and brother, Jordy Jones (Ashleigh) of Bennettsville.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at Burroughs Funeral Home in Bennettsville, followed by burial in Jones Family Cemetery in Cheraw.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 30, 2024, at the funeral home.
