Susie Robinson Jacobs, age 70 of Bennettsville, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025, after an illness.

Susie was born on February 22, 1954, in Bennettsville, SC. She was a daughter of the late Everett and Mary Rivers Robinson. Susie worked as a courier for Marlboro Chesterfield Pathology. She was a former teacher at Steven’s Christian Academy. Susie also worked several years for the Marlboro County School District. She attended Victory World Outreach. She enjoyed being in her yard and gardening. Susie also loved spending time with her dogs.

In addition to her parents, Susie was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Jacobs; brothers, Everett Robinson, Jr., Larry Robinson, Leroy Robinson, and James Robinson; a sister, Louise Crowley.
Susie is survived by a daughter, Linda Martin (Laverne) of Bennettsville; a son, Charles Williams (Heather) of Florence; a brother, Wayne Robinson of Rocky Mount, NC; grandchildren, Jessica Shuler (Jacob), Gracie Garvin (Cyle), River Williams, Preston Williams, Madison Williams, and Evelyn Ann Williams; great grandchildren, Stetson Shuler, Sawyer Shuler, and Ada Jayne Garvin; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members also survive.

A service to celebrate Susie’s life will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Kingdom Life World Outreach. Burial will follow the service in Sunset Memorial Park.

A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
