Teresa Eddins Preston passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Monday, February 9, 2026. She was 62 years old.

Born on October 14, 1963, in Cheraw, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Aubrey Eddins and Mary Alice Burr. Teresa was the manager of Williams Motel. She enjoyed taking cruises on Carnival and especially cherished caring for her three nieces, Ivy, Harmony, and Leilani.

She is survived by her brothers, Danny Eddins (Deanna) of Chesterfield; stepbrothers, Shane Moore (Debbie) and Brad Moore, both of Cassatt; her sister, Lynn Cheek (Leroy) of Chesterfield; and her stepsister, Teresa Self of Cassatt.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Eddins.

Services will be held at a later date.
