Wanda “Dianne” Leviner Grooms, age 80 of Bennettsville, passed away on January 11, 2026, after an illness.
Dianne was born March 12, 1945, in Bennettsville. She was the daughter of the late Frank, Jr., and Janie Walters Leviner. Dianne was a Godly woman. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Church of Bennettsville. Dianne served faithfully as a piano player for many years. She was known for being a prayer warrior. Dianne enjoyed shopping, going out to eat, and working in the yard. She was also a big fan of Elvis Pressley. Dianne had a deep love for her family. She cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Grooms.
Dianne is survived by her daughters, Melinda Pelham (Larry) of Myrtle Beach, Teresa Jorgensen (William) of Laurinburg, NC, and Rhonda Frazier (Frankie) of Clio; a brother, Roy Jerry Leviner of Columbia; grandchildren, Tracy Kyle Adkins, Kayla Ann Stott, Adam Franklin Frazier, Aaron Hugh Frazier, and Rachel Hulon; great grandchildren, Lydia Ann Stott, Aubree Adkins, and Christopher Adkins; nieces and other extended family members also survive.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 3:00 P.M. at Burroughs Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service in Sunset Memorial Park.
A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Thursday, beginning at 2:00 P.M., at Burroughs Funeral Home.
