Mr. William Clyde Peacock, 79, of Heath Springs passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at his home. He was born March 24, 1946 in Bennettsville, a son of the late William Gordon Peacock and Mattie Lou Nolan. Mr. Peacock was a farmer, and he enjoyed tending to his cows. He loved his canine companion, Dixie. Mr. Peacock was a NASCAR and Clemson football fan, and was also a deer hunter and outdoorsman.

Mr. Peacock is survived by a son, Colin Gray Peacock of Georgia; two daughters, Christy Peacock Spratt and her husband Michael of Smithfield, NC and Cynthia Karen Peacock of Lancaster; a sister, Carolyn Peacock Erwin of Bennettsville, SC; four grandchildren, Tasha Morin (Jason), Derrick Spratt (Kirsten), David Lloyd (Makayla) and Liam Spratt; and twelve great grandchildren, Adyn Cummings, Landon Cummings, Addison Cummings, Emery Morin, Aria Mitchell, Kieran Morin, Dante Spratt, Elora Lloyd, Sylas Morin, Teagan Lloyd, Waylon Lloyd, and Evie Spratt. He is preceded in death by a brother, Charles Gordon Peacock.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.
