Mrs. Xina Marguerite Evans Brock, widow of Rev. Charles Edward Brock, passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at McLeod Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. She was 88 years old.
Marguerite was born in Bennettsville on August 3, 1936, to the late James Thomas and Josephine Driggers Evans. She was a member of the First Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was a retired Sales Associate with BC Moore & Son’s Department Store. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She loved spending time with others, her family, and her grands and great grands. No one held her heart like her son Randy.
She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory; son, Randy Brock; grandchildren, Andrew Brock, Patrick Brock and wife Samantha, and Joshua Brock and wife Chelsea; great grandchildren, Charlotte Brock, Benjamin Brock, Axel Brock, and Landon Brown.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband listed above, son, Marcus Wayne Brock, sister, Viola Evans Hopkins.
A funeral service will be held at 3pm, Sunday, October 27, 2024, at First Pentecostal Holiness Church, officiated by Rev. Thomas Buck, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. A visitation will be held from 2-3pm prior to the service.
